This week for Walking Wednesdays we worked our way through the classic tune ‘So What’.
The whole song is really just two chords a D-7 and Eb-7. It seems like that should make it easier but it actually makes it a little more difficult.
I really liked all of the lines that you guys wrote and hope you enjoy playing through this line as well. I have included your bass lines in here so see if you can find your line as you play through these.

Why are there only 7 bars on the last A section after the e flat 8 bars – shouldn’t there be 8?
Thanks, you are right, their should be 8 measures. I’ll have to find out what happened to that last measure. In the meantime it could be a good way to get comfortable with a 7 bar phrase…
I thought it was because he repeats the opening melody, no?
